What to Do After Your CryoSlimming Treatment

For the First 24 Hours After Treatment...

  • Avoid direct heat and activities that cause excessive sweating, such as steam rooms, saunas, or intense exercise, to help ensure optimal results and comfort during recovery.

Your CryoSlimming Treatment Timeline

So, what's next? Every patient's experience is unique, but here's what you can generally expect after your CryoSlimming treatment:

Immediately After Treatment

  • It's normal to experience mild swelling, redness, cramping, tingling, numbness, or a feeling of tightness in the treated area.
  • Results won't be visible immediately, as the body begins to process the treatment over time.

1-4 Weeks After Treatment

  • Side effects like swelling or redness subside, and your skin will appear as it did before treatment.
  • The fat cells targeted during treatment begin to be naturally eliminated by your body.

1-3 Months After Treatment

  • As the fat cells continue to be broken down and removed from the body, you may start noticing visible fat reduction in the treated area.
  • You may be eligible for another round of CryoSlimming in the same treatment area, depending on your goals.

3 Months After Treatment

  • Maximum fat reduction results in the treated area are typically achieved after three months.
  • Some clients are fully satisfied after one session, but multiple sessions may be necessary for more noticeable body sculpting.
  • We recommend repeating treatments every few months until you reach your desired shape.

With Each Additional Session

  • Each subsequent CryoSlimming session eliminates additional fat cells in the targeted areas.
  • You'll continue to see further reduction of stubborn fat bulges, helping you get closer to your body contouring goals.
  • Over time, the treated areas will continue to shrink and shape, optimizing the results.

What to Do If You Experience Common Side Effects

For Discomfort or Swelling

  • Mild discomfort, cramping, tingling, or swelling is common and can last for up to a few weeks.
  • You can apply Vaseline® or Aquaphor® to the treated area to soothe any discomfort.
  • Over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen can also help if needed.
  • Ice packs or heating pads (with a barrier) can be applied for 1-2 hours starting the day after your treatment. Alternate the ice/heat every 3-5 minutes for best results.
  • Wearing compression garments or loose, comfortable clothing can help with recovery.

For Bruising

  • Minor bruising is possible due to the suction from the applicators, but it typically resolves within a week.
  • Avoid alcohol until the bruising fades, and makeup can be applied to cover bruises if needed.

For Itching

  • Itchiness may occur from alcohol prep pads used during the treatment.
  • Over-the-counter antihistamines such as Benadryl®, Allegra®, or Claritin® can help relieve itching.
  • Apply hydrocortisone 1% or use Vaseline®/Aquaphor® to soothe the affected area up to three times per day until it resolves.
